Shop Small Recap November 27th, 2021

Small Businesses Around Delaware Encouraged Consumers to “Shop Small”

THANK YOU, PARTNERS!

Our team here at the Delaware SBDC would like to take a moment and shout out the people and organizations that helped make our Shop Small press tour possible this year. We were able to meet 23 businesses in all three counties, visiting many towns and cities along the way. Our small-but-mighty team appreciates your support, help, encouragement, and expertise!

THANK YOU! Middletown Main Street, Middletown Chamber of Commerce, the Delaware Small Business Administration team, and Media Teams who came out to share the story of Shop Small Saturday – we appreciate you!

SHOP SMALL – ALL YEAR LONG!

Looking for that perfect holiday gift is always a driver to get out and shop – but keep in mind that many of these local businesses that ride high during the holidays need support and patronage all year long. Businesses who sell gift cards or coupons benefit from that post-holiday rush, but remember to get out and support the businesses that keep your community running without holiday motivation.

Keep an eye out all year for signage outside a business that says “Shop Small HERE” – this is a great indicator that you’re supporting a small business.
