Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for an event?

Review the available training events above and click on the event you are interested in attending. You will be taken to our event management system and asked to fill out some basic information about yourself. If the event is virtual, a Zoom link will be provided after registering.

Are there any requirements for me to attend a training?

All Delaware SBDC trainings are open to the public. Anyone can register for these events. Note that attendees are expected to complete an evaluation that measures participants’ satisfaction with the program and its value and benefits.

I registered for an event, but can't find the attendance instructions or Zoom link. What do I do?
Immediately after registering for a training event, you will receive a confirmation email from centeric@clients.delawaresbdc.org with attendance instructions. Please check your junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.

If the event is virtual, our confirmation email will also include a separate Zoom registration link that you must use to register. Once you register for the Zoom meeting, you will receive an email from Zoom with the link to join the meeting. You’ll also receive a reminder email the day before your event.

If you still cannot find the attendance information, please email delaware-sbdc@udel.edu.
I need additional accommodations for this event. Is that possible?

Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities or limited English proficiency will be provided when requested at least 1 week in advance at:

delaware-sbdc@udel.edu  |  302-831-1555

Are training events recorded?

Trainings are presented live and attendees are required to attend at the scheduled time and place to receive the information.  As a general rule of thumb, Delaware SBDC does not record training events for the privacy of attendees. Please review our asynchronous online courses for any pre-recorded trainings of interest.

At the discretion of the organization leading the training, some material may be provided to those that attended or needed special accommodations and could not attend.
