Joining the SBDC as a Business Advisor in 2024, Evie brings a wealth of real-world entrepreneurial experience to her role. Having launched her first business at 18, Evie is a serial entrepreneur, successfully owning and operating a range of ventures, from restaurants and spas to schools and shopping centers. Evie has mastered the art of turning lemons into lemonade—and selling it, too. Hard work, dedication, and perseverance are deeply ingrained in her ethos, and are skills she now leverages to guide SBDC clients. 

Evie holds an Associate of Science, a Bachelor of Business from Wesley College, and a Master of Education from Wilmington University. Evie has a solid track record of supporting entrepreneurs, having worked to start and grow small businesses as a SCORE Mentor. A native of Greece, she brings a unique global perspective to her work. In 2007, Evie founded the Entrepreneurship program at Delaware Technical Community College (DTCC), where she served for 15 years until her retirement. She continues to share her expertise as an adjunct professor at DTCC and Wilmington University, a role she’s held for over 20 years.
