Success Story: Delaware Dynamics LLC
Delaware Dynamix LLC, a vibrant hub for children’s gymnastics and creative expression, was founded by Susan and Mark Guiteras in Harbeson, Delaware. Established in June 2023 and officially opened in February 2024, Delaware Dynamix swiftly gained traction, offering gymnastics classes tailored to children aged 18 months to 17 years, alongside open gym sessions, birthday party rentals, and other special events.
As first-time business owners, Susan and Mark Guiteras found themselves navigating unfamiliar terrain, but driven by their dream of creating their own space for children to explore and learn. This team knew gymnastics well – with more than 30 years of experience in gymnastics and youth sports instruction between them, they saw a gap for families in Sussex County who went without an easily accessible gym in their area. For them, business knowledge and training needed to be flexible as they built their dream – recognizing the need for guidance, they turned to the Community Navigator Program hosted through the Delaware SBDC.
With the help of advisor Samira Savoury, the Delaware Dynamix team received tailored advice, access to essential resources, and ongoing support throughout the formative stages of their new business. Delaware Dynamix now provides gymnastics instruction and associated activities for children up to age 17.

One significant milestone in Delaware Dynamix’s journey was the recognition received through the EDGE grant in the Fall 2023 round. They will use Entrepreneur Class EDGE grant funds for equipment and staffing at their 7000 square foot facility – drumming up a new “Little Ninja” program aimed at young boys, and beginning gymnastics and trampoline programming for special needs children. This grant win, afforded to only five businesses each round, affirmed the Guiteras’ vision and highlighted the positive impact Delaware Dynamix is making within the community. Hosting the award ceremony at their business location, with elected officials, press, and important members of the Delaware business community in attendance, marked a proud moment for the business.
