SBDC Clients Celebrate AT SPRING 2025 EDGE Grant CEREMONY
Since 2019, the Delaware Division of Small Business (DSB) has awarded $8 MILLION to small businesses, and we’re thrilled to recognize the latest round of incredible winners! These businesses are innovating and contributing to Delaware’s economy in so many ways – we’re proud to have supported a few of our clients in pursuing EDGE funding in the Spring of 2025, and are glad to see familiar faces among the winning class.
EDGE Grant Competition
The popular EDGE Grant, Encouraging Development, Growth, and Expansion, here in the state of Delaware, is hosted by the Delaware Division of Small Business each year. EDGE is a competition for grant funding; STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)-based companies and Entrepreneur Class (non-STEM) businesses are eligible for funding. The funds are provided as a $3 (state) to $1 (business) match. As the Division of Small Business gears up for EDGE 2.0, a re-vamped version of the grant opportunity, please visit their website for up-to-date information: https://business.delaware.gov/edge/
Grant Preparation with Delaware SBDC
Applying for funding, whether a grant or loan, is no easy feat – the detailed work of finding the right opportunities, preparing your narrative, and figuring out your finances are areas where the Delaware Small Business Development Center (SBDC) can help you position for success. If you don’t have an Advisor yet, our support is available to any Delaware-based entrepreneur – it’s confidential, top-quality, and best of all, no cost to you!
With the support of the Delaware SBDC, a few of our clients have been awarded the EDGE Grant in both the STEM and Entrepreneur categories – we’re so proud to have been a small part of their journey, and wish them well as they continue to grow and succeed.
