About Thera-V

The Thera-V team, led by founder and CEO Amira Radovic, is on a mission to transform and innovate post-amputation therapy and rehabilitation. Through the creation of drug-free solutions that improve the quality of life of amputees, their first product, Thera-V ELIX, uses mechanical stimulation in the form of vibrations to manage phantom limb pain.

Out of 12,000 applicants, Thera-V was recently inducted into the Democratizing the Friends & Family Round by Project Entrepreneur, a program by UBS, in partnership with Hello Alice! This initiative awards $25,000 grants and virtual coaching to 40 female founders of color leading early-stage, high-growth companies. Read more about the program here.

2021 EDGE Grant

Thera-V has also been awarded the State of Delaware’s prestigious EDGE Grant, which will support their business with funding for product development and manufacturing, website development, office space and conference travel. Read more about EDGE Grants here.

Working with SBDC Advisor Lou DiNetta, Radovic and her company have appreciated help with sourcing, vetting, and applying for funding opportunities that best fit the business.

“Thanks to the SBDC advisors’ guidance, applying for government funding opportunities is less daunting.”

– Amira Radovic
