Our Team

Jake is a multi-degree University of Delaware graduate, holding a BS in Finance and Management Information Systems, an MBA, a MS in Cybersecurity, and an MS in Business Analytics & Information Management. He began his career as a Digital Forensic Consultant at Stroz Friedberg in New York, where he conducted forensic preservation and analysis for large organizations.

After his time in NYC, Jake returned to Delaware to work with the Delaware SBDC. As Digital Solutions Manager, he advised hundreds of clients in cybersecurity, IT management, finance, and food truck management. He designed and implemented national cybersecurity education programs—most notably the North Star Cybersecurity Program—reaching consultants and small businesses across all U.S. states and territories. Under his leadership, one of his cybersecurity initiatives was recognized by NIST as a best practice.

In his current role as a Senior Specialist in Security Awareness at Jack Henry, Jake develops organizational-wide security training and helps train executive teams on sophisticated and targeted cyber threats. He also continues to lend his business expertise as an adjunct instructor at the University of Delaware and as Part-Time Cybersecurity Specialist at Delaware SBDC.

Jake’s technical skill set encompasses a wide range of software and hardware platforms, forensic tools, programming languages, and learning management systems. He remains dedicated to empowering organizations and individuals in the digital age through robust cybersecurity practices, data-driven insights, and practical technology solutions.
