Delaware SBDC Southern Delaware Director Bill Pfaff honored as State Star by America’s Small Business Development Center Network last month at its National Conference in Dallas.

“I am pleased to make this announcement, and to recognize Bill for his extraordinary contributions to the work of the Delaware SBDC and small business in Delaware,” said SBDC State Director Mike Bowman.

Pfaff was chosen for his significant contributions to the Delaware SBDC program, both over the year and in his 20 year career with the SBDC. “No one in the history of the DSBDC has won the award more than once, but Bill is now a three time winner.” adds Bowman. A few of the businesses he has assisted include Dogfish Head, World Gym, Castrol Premium Lube and Henlopen City Oyster House.

“It is an honor to accept this award,” said Pfaff, “and to have the opportunity to help so many people achieve their dream of business success.” Businesses he has assisted add their thanks, “Without the help from this wonderful organization I may have not have opened my restaurant 14 Global. I started out doing everything backwards. Thank god for my advisor Bill’s guidance because he showed me the correct path to open a successful business!! Thank you to everyone that is involved in this organization.”

Congratulations, Bill!!
