Congratulations to our good friend and client, Beverly Stewart and the whole team, at Back to Basics Learning Dynamics!

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. of Wilmington, was recently awarded a Superstar in Business Award of Excellence by the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. The award honors businesses and nonprofit organizations for their outstanding achievements and model approaches to business and management. They are presented to companies that have been in business for at least three years, have no more than 150 employees, and are members of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. Over the course of the program, the State Chamber and the Small Business Alliance have honored more than 70 Superstars.

Founded in 1985, Back to Basics  grew from a sole proprietorship providing one-on-one tutoring into a full-service educational company serving adults, schools, districts, corporations and government entities. It is Delaware’s only Department-of-Education- approved one-on-one private school. The company also offers translating and interpreting educational services in 16 foreign languages and sign language.

The relationship between the Delaware SBDC and owner Beverly Stewart goes back a long way. She turned to the SBDC on a number of occasions as her business grew; for assistance with strategic business planning as well as for expansion projections and government contracting opportunities. Ms. Cox was also a member of the SBDC Advisory Board for many years, where her business acumen was much valued by SBDC leadership and stakeholders. Beverly, you have always been a Superstar to us! Congratulations on another very well-deserved honor!
