One of the key challenges to growing and retaining Delaware’s talent pool of entrepreneurs is facilitating a meaningful interaction between industry and university students. It’s that pipeline from opportunity to success that Delaware is building today.

Herbert has been a longtime client of SBDC and is a graduate of University of Delaware. He was also the winning contestant of TLC’s Cake Boss: The Next Great Baker. His new storefront is now open for business!

Laurel’s Solid Image Growing Again

In 2005, Warren Reid started Solid Image, Inc., making cabinets and countertops in a shed behind his house. Today the business employs 20 and has grown to two companies with the addition of Chesapeake Kitchen and Bath Design Center.
